Nuova Ottica was born on 1 June 1996
The history of its owner Massimo Fradegrada dates back to 1982. His passion for optics can be found within the family environment: in 1982 his brother Nicola had already opened the Stezzano Optics in the municipality of Stezzano (Bg). Mother Giovanna grew up surrounded by the optical language of her three brothers, all of whom had established shops in Sardinia for more than 35 years. It was during the summer holidays that Massimo and Nicola made their first contact with their uncle's optical laboratory and realized that they were incredibly fascinated by this sector.
From 9 February 2008 we moved to the store in the hamlet of Petosino
On 9 February 2008 the new store was inaugurated in Petosino , in Via Martiri della Libertà n. 54/D. We tried to take care of every aspect carefully, also counting on the help of some customers who participated in the "Ideas Competition" on the internet. The new shop is much larger and is divided into areas: eyeglasses, sunglasses, Noyou self-service area, examination and contact lenses room, laboratory and office. Furthermore, a hospitality area dedicated to everyone has been created, where the customer can wait in absolute tranquility, reading or enjoying a good coffee. Our priority has always been the professional appearance and the right balance between price and quality.
