The De Stijl movement postulated the fundamental principle of geometric shapes combined with strong asymmetry and the predominant use of pure primary colors. De Still Holland sunglasses and eyeglasses are highly sought after.

De Stijl is a Dutch art movement named after the magazine De Stijl. This magazine was a project run by the artist and publicist Theo van Doesburg in 1914.
In 1924 Theo van Doesburg published the manifesto “Working Towards Visual Architecture”. This manifesto concluded that neoplastic architecture should be elementary, economical, functional, formless, non-monumental and dynamic.
